BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition launched

The M Performance edition of the stylish four-door coupe will be available in limited units.

BMW has launched the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition in India. The car is priced at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom). The stylish four-door coupe will be available in limited units.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition comes in a Black Sapphire metallic exterior colour. The car gets an M Performance front grille finished in Cerium Grey, M Performance stickers, fog lamp inserts and ORVMs in Cerium Grey.

Inside, the M Performance Edition comes with an Alcantara gear selector lever, M Performance Door pin and door projector, Sports seats with memory function and ambient lighting. The car is fitted with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with head-up display.

Powering the 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 176 BHP @ 5,100 rpm and 280 Nm @ 1,350-4,600 rpm. It is said to enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.

Standard safety features offered on the M Performance edition include a parking assistant with rearview camera, attentive assistance, 6 airbags, ABS with brake assist, DSC, traction control, CBC and ISOFIX child seat mounting anchors.
