BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Black Shadow edition launched

The Black Shadow edition comes with M Performance parts worth Rs. 2.50 lakh.

BMW has launched the 2 Series Gran Coupe Black Shadow edition in India. It costs Rs. 42.30 lakh and only 24 units are being offered.

The Black Shadow edition is based on the 220d M Sport variant. On the outside, the car gets M Performance parts including a black front grille, black ORVMs, gloss black rear spoiler, black chrome exhaust tips and 18-inch M Performance forged alloy wheels finished in Jet Black Matt. The wheels come with a floating hubcap which keeps the BMW logo leveled at all times. These M Performance parts are part of the BMW Individual high-gloss shadow line package and are worth Rs. 2.50 lakh.

On the inside, the car gets Sports Seats with memory function, panoramic sunroof, illuminated trim and ambient lighting. It has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that comes with Gesture Control and is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

The 2 Series Gran Coupe is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 187 BHP and 400 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which drives the front wheels. It comes with launch control and has three driving modes – ECO PRO, Comfort and Sport. BMW claims that the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
