Benelli Imperiale 530 patent image leaked

A design patent image of the new Benelli Imperiale 530 has surfaced online.

The Imperiale 530 looks similar to the Imperiale 400 that is currently on sale in India. The retro-styled bike features a round headlamp and turn indicators. The split seat appears to have been replaced with single-piece seat. It also has a chrome exhaust, unlike the Imperiale 400 which gets a black exhaust with chrome heat shields.

The Benelli Imperiale 400 is powered by a 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 21 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 29 Nm @ 4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Imperiale 530 is expected to get a larger capacity engine.
