A stunning art piece titled 'Transit' has been installed at the Palladium mall in Mumbai.
The sculpture created by artist Valay Shende is made out of small steel discs. It is 22 feet long, 11 feet wide and measures 13 feet in height. It is based on the classic Tata truck with a cab-behind engine design.
Through the sculpture, the artist tries to tell the story of the migrant labourers who move to metro cities from all over India. These workers live in shanties while constructing expensive houses for the rich.
