Bajaj Pulsar CS400 spotted on test again

Earlier this year, we had reported that Bajaj had started testing the Pulsar CS400. Here is a new image of the motorcycle.

The test mule is seen with a load of testing equipment onboard. The bike carries over the design language of the CS400 concept, which was showcased at 2014 Auto Expo. Many features of the concept have also been carried over.

However, there are some differences between the concept and the test mule. While the concept had an inverted fork suspension at the front, the test mule is seen with a conventional telescopic fork. Additionally, the single, long seat of the concept has been replaced by a split seat.

The CS400 gets disc brakes at the front and rear with ABS. Other features include a monoshock rear suspension, digital instrumentation with an LCD display unit on the fuel tank, alloy wheels, LED headlight and LED tail lamps.

The Pulsar CS400 uses a 373.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four stroke, fuel injected engine mated to a 6-speed transmission.

Bajaj has not disclosed the launch date of the Pulsar CS400.
