Audi S5 Sportback to be launched around Diwali

Audi's next offering will be the 349 BHP S5 Sportback.

Earlier today, Audi launched the Q2 SUV in India. During the launch event, the carmaker also teased the next model that it plans to introduce in the Indian market - the S5 Sportback. It will be launched around Diwali.

The S5 Sportback is a four-door coupe. It features Audi's single-frame grille and has an overall sporty look. The car rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and has quad exhausts. It also has pillar-less doors. On the inside, it gets the usual set of features including a touchscreen infotainment head-unit and a digital instrument cluster. 

Powering the S5 Sportback is a 3.0-litre, turbo petrol engine that produces 349 BHP and 500 Nm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car comes with four driving modes - comfort, auto, dynamic and individual. Audi claims that the S5 Sportback can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
