Audi has launched a petrol version of the second generation Q5 in India. The Audi Q5 45 TFSI is available in two trim levels - Premium Plus and Technology, priced at Rs. 55.27 lakh and Rs. 59.79 lakh respectively.
In terms of styling, the Audi Q5 petrol looks identical to the diesel variants launched earlier. The SUV features a single-frame grille with LED headlights on either side. It comes with LED tail lamps and dynamic turn signals. The Q5 rides on 5-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Q5 petrol gets features like a dual-tone dashboard with an 8.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, navigation and voice recognition. It has a 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel and Audi Virtual Cockpit featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Other features include 3-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, electric seats, power tailgate among others.
The Q5 45 TFSI is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine which develops 248 BHP @ 5,000-6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 370 Nm @ 1,600-4,500 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive system. It has adaptive suspension and 5 driving modes including a new off-road mode. The company claims a top speed of 237 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds.
The Audi Q5 45 TFSI comes equipped with a host of safety features. These include ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), 8 airbags, park assist with rear view camera, auto hold function and tyre pressure monitoring system.
