Optional equipment includes paddle shifters, rear view camera, front sports seats, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI touch and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The A3 cabriolet is powered by a 1.8-litre, turbocharged, 4-cylinder 40TFSI petrol engine that produces 177 bhp @ 5100-6200 rpm and 250 Nm of torque @ 1250-5000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S tronic dual clutch gearbox. Audi claims that car can do a 0-100 kph sprint in 7.8 seconds and attain a top speed of 240 kph.

The A3 cabriolet is imported as a CBU and is priced at Rs. 44.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is Rs. 14.7 lakh more than the A3 sedan with the same engine.
