Audi has started production of the A4 facelift at its manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The vehicle is scheduled to be launched in early 2021 and will be the first model from Audi to be introduced in the year. It will compete with the BMW 3-Series, Jaguar XE, Mercedes C-Class and upcoming Volvo S60.
The A4 facelift gets new headlight clusters, reworked bumpers and dual exhausts. The S variant of the car is reported to ride on 19-inch alloy wheels, while other variants will come with either 17-inch or 18-inch wheels. On the inside, the car is expected to get a new MMI system.
Audi does not have any diesel engines powering any of its models at present. The A4 will be no exception. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol unit with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
