The variant-wise feature list of the next-generation Honda City has been revealed. The car comes in three variants - V, VX and ZX.
The V variant gets LED DRLs, projector headlamps, LED tail lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone interior, an 8.0-inch touchscreen head-unit and 4 speakers. It also gets cruise control, engine start / stop button, remote engine starter, rear air-con vents, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs. Safety features include vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, deflation warning system, 4 airbags and a rear-view camera.
In addition to the features available on the V variant, the VX variant gets electric sunroof, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 8 speaker sound system, 7.0-inch MID, automatic headlights, 6 airbags and auto-dimming IRVM.
In addition to the features on the VX variant, the ZX variant gets LED headlamps, LED front fog lamps, leather seats, lane watch camera and all 4 power windows get one-touch up / down with anti-pinch.
The sedan will be offered with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 119 BHP and 145 Nm paired to a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The car will also come with a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit producing 98 BHP and 200 Nm mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The City is expected to be launched on July 15, 2020.
