Skoda has started dispatching the fourth-generation Octavia to dealerships ahead of its launch.
The new Octavia is based on the VW Group's MQB EVO platform. The car has a slightly longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor.
In terms of design, the new Octavia gets a revised front fascia with redesigned LED headlamps and LED taillights. The car seen in this image has dual-tone alloy wheels in a unique design.
The Octavia is likely to come with a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines. These include a 1.5-litre TSI unit paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2.0-litre TSI unit which could be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
