2nd-gen Land Rover Evoque launched at Rs. 54.94 lakh

Land Rover has launched the second-generation Evoque in India. The SUV is available in both petrol and diesel versions and two trims S and R-Dynamic SE. The S diesel is priced at Rs. 54.94 lakh and the R-Dynamic SE diesel costs Rs. 59.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the petrol variants will be announced later.

The second-generation Evoque features a redesigned exterior with a slim grille and wraparound LED headlamps. It gets slim wraparound tail lights with black trim in the centre and flush-fitting door handles. On the inside, the SUV gets a new dashboard with dual touchscreens and a digital instrument cluster. It also gets features such as a ClearSight IRVM, lane keep assist, driver condition monitor and 360-degree parking aid with rear camera, clear exit monitor and rear traffic monitor.

The new Evoque is available with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system producing 247 BHP and 365 Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel that makes 177 BHP and 430 Nm. Both engines are paired with an automatic transmission. The new Evoque has a higher wading depth (600 mm) and comes equipped with Terrain Response 2.
