2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 & 1200 RS launched in India

The Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS are powered by a 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine.

Triumph has launched the latest iteration of the Speed Twin 1200 in India. The 2025 edition is available in two variants: standard and RS, priced at Rs 12.75 lakh and Rs 15.50 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Triumph has made minor changes to the Speed Twin 1200 for the 2025 model year. The bike features a circular headlamp and a new teardrop-shaped fuel tank. It has a single-pod instrument console, a single-piece flat seat and bar-end mirrors. It also has a USB-C charging port.

The Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS are powered by a 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 104 BHP and 112 Nm. The engine now revs to 8,000 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. The RS version gets a bi-directional quickshifter.

The Speed Twin 1200 rides on a 43 mm USD fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The RS version gets an adjustable USD fork and Ohlins rear shocks. Braking duties are handled by dual 320 mm discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.

The new Speed Twin 1200 is available in three colours: Aluminium Silver, Carnival Red/Sapphire Black and Crystal White/Sapphire Black, while the RS version comes in two shades: Sapphire Black and Sapphire Black/Baja Orange.
