The next-generation Skoda Kodiaq will be launched in India next year. The carmaker has already been testing the new model on our roads for some time, and the latest spy images suggest that it could be offered in two variants.
Two Skoda Kodiaq test mules with distinct exterior specs were recently spotted testing. The car in front has a silver insert on the rear bumper and silver D-pillars and is riding on aero-optimized wheels.
The silver car seen in these spy images appears to be a higher-spec variant equipped with 4-wheel drive. It has a body-coloured rear bumper with chrome inserts, a blacked-out D-pillar and 2-tone alloy wheels.
Skoda used to offer three variants of the Kodiaq: Style, Sportline and L&K. However, until recently, the SUV was only available in the top-spec L&K. It seems Skoda is planning to bring back multiple variants of the new-gen Kodiaq.
The new Kodiaq will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the outgoing model. It produces 187 BHP and 320 Nm and will be paired with a 7-speed DSG.
