2024 Jawa Perak gets engine updates for performance & refinement

The 2024 Jawa Perak now features a new crankshaft that is said to reduce engine stress.

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced several mechanical updates on the Jawa Perak. The 2024 model gets significant enhancements to its engine aimed at improving performance and refinement.

The company has made micro geometry modifications to the gear tooth, which is said to have resulted in superior meshing quality, reducing the NVH levels. The new gearbox covers are also said to improve the NVH characteristics of the bike.

The 2024 Jawa Perak now features a new crankshaft that is said to reduce engine stress. Other changes to the engine include a new piston skirt profile and cast iron liner in the engine block that reduces friction and improves engine NVH, a larger throttle body diameter of 38 mm and a patented breather canopy that minimizes oil consumption and emissions.

The engine is complemented by an 'assist & slipper' clutch. The bike maker has also made changes to the gear ratios and throttle mapping for different usage scenarios, from urban commuting to highway cruising.
