2022 Toyota Glanza bookings open unofficially

The Glanza competes with the 2022 Baleno, Tata Altroz and the Hyundai i20.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno was launched in the Indian market yesterday. Now, its twin, the Toyota Glanza is also set to get similar updates. While we still don't know the official launch date, reports suggest that some dealerships have started accepting bookings for the 2022 Glanza facelift.

Like the Baleno, the Glanza is also expected to get a redesigned front grille and new LED headlamps and tail lights along with other cosmetic changes.

On the inside, the hatchback will get a heads-up display and a floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The car will also get features such as a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, 6-airbags and ESP.

The Glanza will be powered by the same 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine that powers the new Baleno. It produces 89 BHP and 113 Nm and will be offered with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.
