2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring globally unveiled

The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring misses out on the large rear wing, but carries forward the same performance levels.

Porsche has unveiled the Touring version of the latest generation 911 GT3. The new 911 GT3 Touring features minor cosmetic changes.

In terms of design, the GT3 Touring offers a more sober styling. The main difference between the regular GT3 and its Touring version is the absence of the large wing at the rear. Instead, the Touring features an extendable spoiler.

Other changes include aluminium window surrounds, a colour-coded front spoiler and a 'Touring' badge on the rear bumper.

Inside, the new GT3 Touring carries forward the same layout as the regular model and comes with extended leather upholstery. The Touring package offers 'GT3' embossing in the cabin as well.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is powered by the same 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-6 engine as the regular GT3. It produces 503 BHP and 470 Nm and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or the optional 7-speed PDK automatic transmission.

The 911 GT3 Touring will go on sale in international markets early next year. Porsche has priced the car at US$ 161,100, excluding handling, processing & delivery charges.
