2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga launched at Rs. 8.35 lakh

The 2022 Ertiga 6-speed automatic is available in three variants - VXI, ZXI and ZXI+.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Ertiga facelift in India. The MPV is available in four variants -LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+, with prices starting at Rs. 8.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2022 Maruti Ertiga gets a few cosmetic changes on the outside. It comes with a new radiator grille with chrome inserts and new dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside, the car gets metallic teak-wooden finish on the dashboard and dual-tone seat fabric.

The MPV comes equipped with air-cooled can holders, front row armrest with utility box, roof-mounted AC for rear passengers and auto headlamps with follow-me-home function. The car also gets a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with voice commands and cruise control.

Powering the Ertiga is a next-gen 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 102 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 136.8 Nm @ 4,400 rpm. While a 5-speed manual transmission is standard, the car is now available with a new 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters.

The Ertiga is also offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit. When running on CNG, the 1.5-litre engine develops 87 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm @ 4,200 rpm.
