BMW Motorrad has revealed the G 310 R and G 310 GS for the 2022 model year. Before you get too excited, it would be worth noting that it is nothing more than a cosmetic update.
The G 310 R gets two new colour options - Kyanite Blue Metallic with Red wheels and Cosmic Black Two. The bike will no longer be offered in the Polar White shade.
The G 310 GS gets a new Triple Black shade while the '40 Years of GS' colour scheme has been discontinued.
Both the G 310 R and G 310 GS share the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine. It produces 33 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The same engine powers the TVS Apache RR 310. The bikes come with a 6-speed transmission and slipper clutch as well as ride-by-wire.
The G 310 GS is BMW's entry-level adventure bike. On the other end of the spectrum lies the R 1250 GS, which is scheduled to be launched on July 8.
