Both the electric motor and battery come with an 8-year / 1,60,000 km warranty.

Tata Motors has revealed the 2021 Tigor EV for the personal segment. The car will be officially launched soon, but customers can pre-book the car by paying a token amount of Rs. 21,000.

The updated Tigor EV is based on the Tigor facelift which was launched earlier this year. The car gets a similar front fascia featuring sharper styling. Blue accents help differentiate it from the petrol version.

On the inside, the car comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and iRA connected car suite. It has electrically foldable ORVMs and smart key with push button start. The car offers 316 litres of boot space that can be expanded to 375 litres by removing the spare wheel. Tata also offers a puncture repair kit.

When it comes to safety, the Tigor EV is equipped with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control, Hill ascent assist, and Hill descent assist.

The Tigor EV uses Tata's Ziptron electric powertrain. The electric motor delivers 74 BHP and 170 Nm, allowing the car to sprint from 0-60 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

The car comes with a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It can be recharged from 0-80% in about an hour using a fast charger, while the same can be achieved in 8.5 hours using a standard home charger.

The Tigor EV's battery is IP 67 rated, and both the electric motor and battery come with an 8-year / 1,60,000 km warranty.
