Ducati has launched the 2021 XDiavel in India. The bike is available in two variants - Dark and Black Star, priced at Rs. 18 lakh and Rs. 22.60 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
The XDiavel Black Star comes with a special livery in grey and matt black with red accents. It also gets bright red coloured paint on the engine cover. The XDiavel Dark is finished in matt black paint and gets blacked-out mechanicals as well.
Powering the 2021 XDiavel is a BS6-compliant 1,262cc, L-twin engine that produces 158 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 127 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. That's 8 BHP and 2 Nm more than the BS4 version of the engine.
The XDiavel Black Star gets adjustable 50 mm upside-down forks with DLC treatment, forged rims which are machined and painted in gloss black and help reduce the weight of the bike by 2 kg. The bike also gets a high-grip suede fabric seat, Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), full LED headlights with daytime running lights and twin 320 mm disc brakes at the front.
As part of the standard equipment list, both bikes get Riding Modes, Power Modes, Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, full-LED lighting system, Ducati Power Launch, Cruise control, Hands-free, backlit handlebar switches, 3.5-inch TFT colour display and an 18-litre fuel tank.
