2017 Honda Jazz facelift spotted in Brazil & Japan

The 2017 Honda Jazz facelift has been spotted testing in Brazil and Japan, where it is sold under the Honda Fit moniker. There are no official details yet about a probable launch of this facelift in the Indian market, though it is expected to be introduced here sometime next year.

The spotted model has been disguised under some minor camouflage, especially around the bumpers. The spy shots indicate that the 2017 facelift will get some cosmetic tweaks on the front and rear ends. The face of the car will house a new grille and headlights, which appear to take inspiration from the recently launched 2017 City facelift. The front bumper will also feature a new layout.

The side profile will remain largely unchanged, though Honda might offer a new set of alloy wheels on the India-spec model. Meanwhile, the rear will get a new bumper and redesigned tail lights. The model spotted in Japan gets a more prominent roof mounted spoiler and side skirts, while the test mule snapped in Brazil misses these design elements. The car might get some added features, including a Digipad touchscreen infotainment system, similar to what is offered with the new City and the WR-V.

Being just a mid-life facelift, no mechanical changes are expected to be offered with the 2017 Jazz. The India-spec model will thus likely continue to be offered with a 1.2-litre, 4-cyinder petrol and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine.
