2017 Honda Activa 125 gets BS IV compliant engine and AHO

Honda has launched the 2017 Activa 125, which now comes with a BS IV compliant engine and Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function. Prices of the new Activa 125 start at Rs. 56,954 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Activa 125 gets LED position lamps located near the turn indicators on the front apron. The updated scooter also comes with a mobile charging socket and a retractable front hook. Honda has further added a new Mat Crust Metallic colour to the Activa 125's palette, which already included 4 colour options: Pearl Amazing White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black and Rebel Red Metallic. Other design elements appear to be identical to the earlier model, including the prominent chrome plate between the turn indicators and a black cowl above the main headlamp.

Powering the new Activa 125 is the same 125 cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine which develops 8.52 BHP @ 6,500 rpm and 10.54 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm, while being mated to a CVT gearbox. It will come standard with Honda's patented CBS (Combi Braking System) technology.
