2017-18 Mahindra Mojo Trail calendar announced

Mahindra Two Wheelers has announced the official calendar of its 2017-18 Mojo Trail. For its second season, the Mojo Trail includes two new ride locations, taking the overall number of rides to 5.

For the 2017 season, the available trips include Mountain Trail, Jungle Trail, Desert Trail, North-East trail and Island Trail. The Mountain Trail includes a journey of 2,495 km covering Chandigarh, Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, Kargil, Sonmarg and Dharamshala. The Jungle Trail is 942 km long, covering Bengaluru, Chikmagaluru, Madikeri and Masinagudi. Desert Trail spans through Jaipur, Kumbalgarh and Chittorgarh and covers a distance of 2,064 km. The North-east trail is the longest trip on the Mojo Trail calendar, with a total distance of 2,701 km through Guwahati, Tawang, Mechuka and Dibrugarh. On the other hand, the shortest trip is the Island Trail that runs across the length of the Andaman island, with a distance of 596 km, covering Port Blair, Rangat, Diglipur and Baratang.

Mahindra claims to have considered weather patterns across all locations in order to select the optimum timing of each trail. Following are the announced dates of all 5 Mahindra Mojo trails for the 2017-18 season:

• North East Trail: April 30 - May 11, 2017

• Mountain Trail: July 8 - 20, 2017

• Jungle Trail: September 21 - 24, 2017

• Island Trail: November 26 - December 1, 2017

• Desert Trail: January 21 - 28, 2018
