Skoda has released the first official sketch of the 2016 Superb. The car, which has been spied testing on numerous occasions will evidently get a lot of its design inputs from the VisionC concept.
The sketch shows the new Superb with a muscular bonnet and shoulder line, sleeker side view mirrors & the Skoda family front grill, while the logo sits on the bonnet lip. The car will also get day time running LEDs that run along the bottom and outer corner of the swept back headlamps. The interior design will be updated as well, while the interior space will be better than the outgoing model. Based on Volkswagen's MQB platform, the new Superb is also expected to be lighter by around 75 kgs.
Engine options are said to include 1.6L-2.0L TDI & 1.4L-1.8L TSI engines. The 2016 Skoda Superb will make its public debut at the 2015 Geneva motor show.
