2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe spied

Mercedes-Benz brought in the W205 C-Class last year. The "mini S-Class" is currently offered as a sedan and estate. The C-Class coupe though, is yet to get its next generational rebirth. We now have fresh spy shots of the 2016 C-Class Coupe.

Like its sedan counterpart, the coupe features a design that strongly draws upon the S-Class, or in this case the S-Class coupe. Styling cues include a single slat front grille, large air intakes and door side mounted ORVMs. The 2-door will also feature the same interior as the current C-Class and the engines will be carried over as well. There will also be a high performance AMG variant that will use the new 4.0-litre turbo V8, instead of the W204 C-Class AMG's 6.3-litre V8.

The new C-Class could be unveiled later this year, at the Frankfurt motor show. Bookings should open shortly after with deliveries beginning in early 2016. If the C-Class Coupe is launched in India, it will most likely come in as a direct import.
