2015 SsangYong Rexton facelift revealed

The 2015 SsangYong Rexton has been unveiled in South Korea. Features include a newly designed radiator grille that seems to have been inspired by the SsangYong Chairman saloon, new alloy wheels and projector headlamps with day time running LEDs.

On the inside, the new Rexton gets a redesigned centre console, a new steering wheel, LED cabin lights along with heated seats. Engine options include 2.0-litre or 2.7-litre diesels or a 3.2-litre petrol engine. The new Rexton gets a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.

The Rexton sold in India is offered with the 2.7-litre diesel engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. Whether or not this model makes it to India remains to be seen. The Rexton is currently the only model sold by SsangYong in India.
