Honda continues to reap the benefits of the NSX's legacy. The 2015 NSX has been seen as a concept at multiple motor shows, including the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. However, despite the fact that Honda hasn't unveiled the final product, buyers have already paid the booking amount of £5000 to be among the first owners.
The order books for the hybrid sportscar have been closed. Dealers say they have accrued 100 bookings over the past two years or so. Though the number of orders isn't large, it is sufficient to fill up the first year's unit allocation.
The 2015 Honda NSX will be powered by a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6 engine. The internal combustion engine works in tandem with 3 electric motors. One electric motor is integrated into the engine, while the other two propel the front wheels.
The 2015 NSX will be produced at the Honda Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, USA. The final production version is expected to make its debut at the 2015 Detroit motor show.
