A recently restored 1933 Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP was sold for Rs. 1.92 crore at Osian's Connoisseurs of Art's first live Vintage and Classic Automobile Auction. The car was previously owned by Viscount Southwood and John Martin - the owner of Glenlivet.
This was the first live automobile auction held in India, which included cars from all over India. Cars owned by prominent collectors like Diljeet Titus, Zaheer Vakil, Rishad Kundanmal, Partha Banik, Naveen K, Zain Bilgrami and Bhavesh Solanki took part in the auction.
In all, the Automobile Sale raised Rs. 4.50 crore, while the Modern Fine Art Sale raised Rs. 12.84 crore.
