What's the best price for a used 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650

It’s with a dealer in Bangalore and they quoted around Rs 5.6 lakh.

What’s a good price for ~4000km-run 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650? Has factory warranty till December 2021. It’s with a dealer in Bangalore and they quoted around Rs 5.6 lakh.

Btw, what was the OTR price back in 2019?

Here's what BHPian RiderZone had to say on the matter:

2019 ex-showroom price seems to be Rs 5.5 lakh, so on-road I guess would be around Rs 6.75 lakh. Rs 5.6 lakh seems quite high to me, but dealers will do that. Depending on the condition of the bike and any accessories etc., something between Rs 4.7 lakh to Rs 5 lakh seems reasonable.

Here's what BHPian neil.jericho had to say on the matter:

I would say between Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh seems fair. The dealer quoted price is ridiculous.

Here's what BHPian no_fear had to say on the matter:

Dealer is charging extra mark-up of Rs 60k on this bike. The 2021 warranty should not be priced in as it's expiring in 3 months and the chance of you claiming anything under the warranty is nil.

4k km is decent as the engine has been well broken into. Realistic market value is Rs 4.7 lakh and max you should pay is Rs 5 lakh. Both Riderzone and Neil have quoted the correct figures.

The dealer cost in cleaning and refurbing the bike is max Rs 10k. Used dealers usually make about 20 - 30k profit on selling the 650. I assume that he bought the bike at / around Rs 4.2 lakh.

Start with Rs 4.7 lakh and end at Rs 5 lakh in your negotiation. Anything above Rs 5 lakh is just pure greedy profit for the dealer.
