Volkwagen Tiguan Allspace launched at Rs. 33.12 lakh

Volkswagen has launched the Tiguan Allspace priced at Rs. 33.12 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The 7-seater SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).

The Tiguan Allspace is larger than the standard Tiguan and has a wheelbase of 2,787 mm. It has seating for 7 persons and the luggage capacity is 340-litres. With the rear seats folded down, luggage capacity can be increased to 1,274 litres.

The Tiguan Allspace comes with LED headlamps that have LED daytime running lights and LED tail lights. The SUV comes with a panoramic sunroof, illuminated scuff plates and 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the car comes with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other features include automatic tailgate opening function and park assist.

The Tiguan Allspace is available with a 2.0-litre, turbo petrol engine that produces 187 BHP @ 4,200 rpm and 320 Nm @ 1,500-4,100 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels.

Safety features include 7 airbags, ESP, ABS, Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), ISOFIX and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

The Tiguan Allspace is available in 7 colour options - Habanero Orange, Petroleum Blue, Ruby Red, Deep Black Pearl, Platinum Grey, Pure White and Pyrit Silver.
