Toyota has is no longer offering the Fortuner TRD in India. The SUV has been removed from the official website.
The Fortuner TRD was positioned above the standard model and stood out thanks to its dual-tone exterior, sporty front grille, different bumpers and black alloy wheels. The SUV came with all-black interiors and was equipped with the Special Technology Pack as standard. This included features such as 360-degree camera, wireless charging, head-up display, digital video recorder, air ionizer and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Fortuner TRD was powered by a 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produced 175 BHP and 450 Nm. The engine was mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission which came with paddle shifters.
Toyota is expected to launch the Fortuner facelift sometime in early-2021. The Fortuner Legender is also rumoured to be offered in India.
