Toyota is gearing up to launch the Fortuner Legender on January 6, 2021.
The Fortuner Legender is expected to be positioned above the standard model. The SUV gets a different front fascia with slim LED headlights and a striking set of LED daytime running lights. It gets a dual-tone exterior with contrasting gloss black surfaces.
At the rear, the SUV gets a redesigned bumper and gloss black trim between the tail lamp clusters. The Fortuner Legender rides on 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Fortuner Legender comes with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay connectivity. It gets wireless charging, 360-degree camera, lane departure warning system, radar guided cruise control and a wheel orientation sensor.
The SUV is likely to be powered by an upgraded 2.8-litre diesel engine producing 201 BHP and 500 Nm @ 1,600-2,800 rpm. It uses a variable nozzle turbocharger which is controlled by an electric motor.
