Top 10 best-selling cars in India - March 2021

7 of the top 10 cars sold in March 2021 were Maruti vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai continued to dominate the sales chart in March 2021. The list of the top 10 best-selling cars includes 7 models from the Maruti stable and 3 models from the South Korean carmaker.

The Swift continued to be the best selling car in the country with 21,714 units. It was followed by the Baleno, WagonR, and the Alto. Just like in February 2021, the Hyundai models in the top 10 list included the Creta, Venue and the Grand i10.

The top 10 cars sold in March 2021 are:

• Maruti Swift - 21,714
• Maruti Baleno - 21,217
• Maruti WagonR - 18,757
• Maruti Alto - 17,401
• Hyundai Creta - 12,640
• Maruti Eeco - 11,547
• Maruti Dzire - 11,434
• Maruti Vitara Brezza - 11,274
• Hyundai Grand i10 - 11,020
• Hyundai Venue - 10,722

The overall sales went up from 3,08,593 units in February 2021 to 3,20,487 units in March 2021.

Maruti has a market share of 45.62%, while Hyundai's share is 16.41%. Tata (9.25%), Kia (5.96%) and Mahindra (5.19%) complete the top five.
