Tata Punch production surpasses the 3 lakh unit mark

The Tata Punch competes with the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Fronx and the Citroen C3.

Tata Motors is celebrating a new production milestone as the 3,00,000th Punch rolls off the assembly line.

The Tata Punch was launched in October 2021. The first 1 lakh units were produced in just 10 months post its launch, while the next 1 lakh units rolled off the production line in May 2023.

Tata currently offers the Punch in four variants – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 84 BHP and 113 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.

The Punch is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. There’s also a pure-electric version in the works. It rivals the Hyundai Exter, Maruti Fronx and the Citroen C3.
