New images of the Tata Nexon facelift have surfaced online. The latest spy images suggest that the compact SUV might get Harrier-inspired styling.
Unlike the rounded design of the outgoing model, the Nexon facelift appears to have a more angular styling. It is likely to get twin-pod headlamps with projectors and a redesigned front grille that looks slimmer. The front bumper also appears to be new and houses a trapezoidal air dam and circular fog lamps. The SUV also has roof rails.
The interior of the car is also expected to feature a few updates. These could include a new steering wheel and a larger touchscreen infotainment system.
The Nexon facelift is expected to be offered with the same set of engines as the outgoing model. At present, the Nexon is powered by a 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 108 BHP and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel that puts out 108 BHP and 260 Nm of torque. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
