Tata Curvv.EV comes home; Impressions after 500 km of mixed driving

The Curvv.ev replaces our 5-year-old MG Hector which aged faster than it should have.

BHPian DASKD24 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

We brought home our new one last week! Wait was over.

It wasn't a long wait, a month to be precise. Worth it.

Adishakti Banaswadi, handled the entire process from TD to booking, from follow ups to PDA, from accessories to final delivery, it was all very well structured and organised. To be honest, from the stories around, and coming from MG, we had our expectation tuned. But have been pleasantly surprised indeed. Every request was fulfilled to our satisfaction.

The Curvv.EV is surely a head turner, within a few hours around the city roads, had quite a few curious enquiries and complements.
Rear quarter profile looks best IMO.

Drove about 500kms in mixed drove conditions - city traffic, potholed roads (Bangalore things!), rainy nights, highways, uphill, downhill, overall about 400kms so far - and its a breeze.
Being the first EV experience with a 165BHP on just a tap of foot, both interesting and exciting.
The car feels planted on highways speeds (120+).
All features working well as it should. After a few days, one gets used to and adapted to ADAS.

Outgoing Hector was 5 year old and aged faster. than it should have. We had some incredible memories with it, so super sad to see it go. Personally we knew very well Curvv EV won't a an upgrade. But apart from the overall space within the car (Hector vs CurvvEV), the new one has a lot more going for it.

The color Virtual Sunrise is interesting. Many have felt it reflects different hues at different times, depending on ambience, esp the sky.

Did not install the 7kw charger.
basic 3.3 Kw on solar have been good enough so far.

Haven't gone into the math of all the relevant EV metrics yet, just enjoying at the moment!

More to come!
