Lamborghini recently debuted the Aventador LP 750-4 SV in Asia at the 2015 Shanghai motor show. Only 600 units of the supercar will be sold globally and while big pocketed buyers may be queuing up to get one for themselves, it looks like the Italian automaker is now working on a Huracan Superveloce.
Courtesy the good folks at Car Scoops, we now have a first look at what could be a test mule for the Huracan SV. On the surface there’s little to tell the car apart from the regular Huracan LP 610-4, but at the back we see a mesh grill with what appear to two tail pipes, in addition to the four seen in the rear bumper. According to the image source, the car appears to get larger disc brakes as well.
Like the Aventador SV, this car will most likely drop a fair amount in weight, to the tune of around 100 kgs. This weight saving could be brought about by the use of aluminium and carbon fibre body components, which may only be seen at a later stage of testing. The Huracan SV will be a limited edition and will command a higher price than the standard car as well.
The standard car is powered by a 5.2L, V10 that makes 602 BHP @ 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm.
