According to Zac Hollis, Director, Sales, Service & Marketing, Skoda Auto India, the Superb facelift will be launched in India in May 2020.
The updated Superb features minor cosmetic changes like a revised grille and LED headlamps, redesigned bumpers and tail lights. The car gets Skoda lettering on the boot lid instead of the circular logo. The car could also receive minor updates on the interior.
Superb facelift could be offered with a BS6 compliant, 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine producing 187 BHP. At present, the Superb is available with a 1.8-litre turbo petrol that puts out 178 BHP and 250 Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel that makes 175 BHP and 350 Nm of torque.
