Skoda Rapid Rider launched at Rs. 6.99 lakh

Skoda has launched a limited edition version of the Rapid called the Rider. It is priced at Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Rapid Rider gets a black grille with a dual-tone front bumper and black decals on the sides. It has blacked-out B-pillars and a black trunk lip garnish. It is available in two colour options - Candy White and Carbon Steel.

On the inside, the Rapid Rider comes with dual-tone ebony sand interiors with ivory slate upholstery and scuff plates. Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS, rough road package and rear parking sensors. 

Powering the Rapid Rider is a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 103 BHP @ 5,200-5,250 rpm and 153 Nm of torque @ 3,750-3,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
