The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 has been spotted in Pune just a day ahead of its launch.

The Maybach GLS600 is Mercedes' flagship SUV. It sits above the regular GLS in the brand's line-up and rivals the likes of the Rolls Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga.

The Maybach GLS600 features a lot of chrome on the exterior. It gets a Maybach-specific front grille and a chrome mesh on the front bumper. The SUV also rides on a unique set of multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The Maybach GLS600 comes with 4 and 5-seat configurations. The 4-seater version gets captain seats that have reclining and massage functions. It even has a refrigerator to store champagne bottles. Other features include dual 12.3-inch screens, a panoramic sunroof and an optional AIR-BALANCE package.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine producing 550 BHP and 730 Nm and is paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. The car comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system that provides a boost of 21 BHP and 250 Nm.
