The 2022 Baleno will be offered in four trims - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.

Maruti Suzuki will launch the 2022 Baleno in India later this week, but its official brochure has already been leaked online.

According to the brochure, the new Baleno measures 3,990 mm in length, 1,745 mm in width, 1,500 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm.

The car will be offered in four trims - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Features such as LED headlights, alloy wheels and rear AC vents will be available on the top two variants. The top-spec Alpha trim will be equipped with a head-up display, cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs and an auto-dimming IRVM. Automatic climate control will be offered as standard across all variants.

The SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system will be available in the top two variants, while Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will come in all variants except the base Sigma trim.

Coming to the safety features, the Baleno will come equipped with 6 airbags (Zeta & Alpha variants) and ESP with hill-hold.

The Baleno will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system. This engine produces 89 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and will be offered with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
