According to a media report, Maruti is likely to launch the Vitara Brezza facelift in the coming months. The car is expected to receive exterior and interior updates.
The Vitara Brezza facelift could get redesigned front and rear bumpers and a new grille. It could also get LED projector headlights and revised tail lamp clusters. The compact SUV will reportedly get a bonnet scoop as well.
On the inside, the refreshed Vitara Brezza is likely to get an updated SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system and new fabric upholstery.
The new Vitara Brezza could swap its Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine for Maruti's own 1.5-litre unit. This engine is said to produce 94 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 225 Nm of torque @ 1,500-2,500 rpm and is expected to be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The report also suggests that production of the Vitara Brezza facelift is already underway and 5,000 units have been built.
