According to a media report, Honda's new sub-4 meter SUV is scheduled to be unveiled in May 2021.
A trademark application filed by Honda suggests that the new sub-4 meter crossover could be called ZR-V in India. It is expected to share its platform with the Honda Amaze.
In the international market, the ZR-V could get two petrol engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit with Honda's compact hybrid system (e-HEV).
The new sub-4 metre SUV is expected to be positioned below the HR-V in Honda's model line-up. It is likely to compete with the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and other sub-4 metre SUVs.
