Rumour: Honda City BS-VI bookings open

According to a media report, certain Honda dealerships have started accepting bookings for the BS-VI version of the City.

The City BS-VI is expected to be offered in four variants - SV, V, VX and ZX. It is likely to get LED daytime running lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, remote locking, electric ORVMs, audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control as standard. The top-spec ZX trim could get automatic LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, leatherette upholstery and side and curtain airbags.

According to a transport department document, the updated 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine could produce 118 BHP @ 6,600 rpm. The engine is expected to be mated to a manual transmission.
