Royal Enfield has launched the Shotgun 650 in the Indian market. The bobber-style motorcycle is priced at Rs 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
The Shotgun 650 is the fourth model in the brand’s 650cc range, after the Interceptor, Continental GT and Super Meteor 650. The bike features a flat handlebar and mid-set footpegs, offering an upright riding position. The seat is set at a height of 795 mm.Â
Powering the Shotgun 650 is the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that powers the Super Meteor 650. It produces 47 BHP and 52.3 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Shotgun 650 features an upside-down front fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It rides on alloy wheels with 18-inch rims at the front and 17-inch at the rear.
The Shotgun 650 comes with Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation, an LED headlight and dual-channel ABS. A pillion seat is available as an option.Â
