Royal Enfield clears BS4 stock ahead of deadline

According to Royal Enfield, its dealerships have sold all existing inventory of BS4 motorcycles ahead of the March 31 deadline. All dealerships will sell BS6-compliant bikes from March 21, 2020.

Royal Enfield has been working closely with dealerships to ensure a seamless transition. In preparation, the company had scaled down production and distribution of BS4 motorcycles and simultaneously increased the production of the BS6 models.

Royal Enfield had introduced BS6-compliant models in January 2020. The Classic 350 was the first bike to get a BS6 engine.
