Porsche has commenced deliveries of the Taycan EV in India. The first car was recently handed over to a customer by Porsche Centre, Delhi-NCR.
The Porsche Taycan was launched in India in November last year with prices starting at Rs 1.50 crore (ex-showroom).
The Taycan is available in four variants: Base, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. Porsche is also offering the Cross Turismo in India, which is offered in three variants: 4S, Turbo and Turbo S.
The base Taycan packs 402 BHP and uses a 79.2 kWh battery pack. It is rear-wheel drive only.
The Taycan 4S features a dual-motor setup. It packs up to 523 BHP and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. The Cross Turismo 4S, on the other hand, has 563 BHP.
The Taycan Turbo has 671 BHP and 850 Nm, while the Turbo S packs 751 BHP and 1,050 Nm. The latter can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds!
The base Taycan and 4S variants come with a 79.2 kWh battery pack offering up to 484 km of range. The Turbo and Turbo S variants get a larger 93.4 kWh battery which can provide a maximum range of 456 km (WLTP cycle).
