Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive revealed, develops 599 BHP

Porsche has unveiled a new limited-edition model in its 911 range. Called the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive, this new model is the most powerful iteration of the 911 Turbo S ever produced. The German carmaker will be making just 500 units of the Turbo S Exclusive across the world.

The 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive is being built by hand at the new Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur facility at the company's headquarters in Stuttgart. This in-house workshop has dedicatedly been developed for producing and customising limited edition models from Porsche's portfolio.

The 911 Turbo S Exclusive is available with a new Golden Yellow Metallic paint finish, while some other colour options are also on offer. Various carbon fibre parts have been used on the exteriors, including the front trunk lid, roof and side skirts. A pair of carbon-weave racing stripes run front the bonnet to the roof of the car. The limited-edition model also comes with black 20-inch alloy wheels that adorn gold detailing.

Meanwhile, the interiors come with 18-way adjustable sports seats that are covered with new perforated leather upholstery. Golden yellow inserts have been added to various parts of the cabin, including the seat upholstery, door pads, dashboard and steering wheel lining.

Powering the limited edition 911 is a 3.8-litre twin turbo flat-6 engine that makes 599 BHP and 750 Nm of torque. This powertrain can accelerate the car from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in a company-claimed time of 2.8 seconds, making it around 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard car. Porsche also claims that the 911 Turbo S Exclusive has a top speed of 330 km/h. Features on offer with the Turbo S Exclusive edition include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Sport Chrono package, rear axle steering and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC).
