Big thanks to Suhas Manjunath for the heads-up!
Skoda has published an official notice in the Deccan Herald's Bangalore edition confirming the closure of Vinayak Skoda - a dealership in Bangalore, that had been in the news for allegedly cheating a customer.
Back in October 2017, a customer had filed a case in a consumer court against the said dealership for cheating and deceiving him.
It was found that the dealer had locally converted a regular Skoda Rapid into a Black Edition. The dealer also forged invoices to mislead the customer into thinking that the car he had purchased was indeed a Black Edition.
